Search Results Sorted to have Featured First – not possible?

Hi Guys,

Reading the documentation here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/sorting/

You might want to sort paid listings by “Featured” and then sort events by Date, for example.

Sorting features do not apply to search results. Search results are always sorted by relevance.

Is this really the case? I am introducing a FREE tier to customers and want their listings lower down the results than paying customers who will be marked as “Featured”.

Am I missing something?

Thanks for your post. To clarify, displaying featured listings first on your search results requires customization.
