    Theme: Extra (Similar to Divi)
Running on a Ubuntu 8GB VPS.

I have a search bar on my site coosguide.com and also at coosguide.com/directory.

Both are inserted via shortcode. I have an event named Test set up.

    1. When I click into the search field I get a dropdown of all of the categories I have created. I don’t know if this is supposed to happen, but it’s annoying and I can’t seem to turn it off.

    2. When I search for “Test” or anything else, I get redirected to the homepage.

ETA: Well, it appears that Buddypress was breaking the search. I disabled BuddyPress and I can, once again, search as normal. (Yes, I had BuddyPress integration installed.

When BP is installed the slug of the search page must be changed to something other than “search”

Let us know how it goes.
