Search Tags not working

    Hi,
    My tags doesn’t seem to be working in search for a particular CPT ie the search results return null even though I searched for terms in my tags. Could you please help me see what’s wrong with it? I’ll leave additional details in the following post.

    Please update all your GD plugins first and let us know if that fixed the issue.

    It looks like you might have had a CPT you deleted that still had a link to CPT field, this was causing a issue with saving.

    You also don’t have any listings with “soaps” but rather “soap” which works.

    Thanks Stiofan.

    I created a new post with
    CPT: shopping
    tag: watches
    category: Jewellery and Watches

    but when I searched for “watches”, nothing comes up.

    I don’t really understand the part you said where there’s a CPT I deleted that still had a link to CPT field. Would deleting the “Linked posts” field under Shopping (CPT) – Settings resolve that portion?

    Hi Stiofan,

    To be honest, I’m getting quite frustrated with this software. It seems like every time I overcome a hurdle, suddenly something else comes up. It’s like a create CPT 1 and everything goes well, and all of a sudden when I work on CPT 3, a new issue comes up.

    I did fill up all the fields properly and I have no idea why the info disappears. As you know, without the address and some of the fields, I wouldn’t even have been able to save the post in the first place. so I did fill up all the fields properly and it all becomes weird after that. Why does the dining CPT work well but not this CPT?

    Hi,

    I just tried resaving the entries with my Mac using Safari and they suddenly work fine now.

    Last night I was working with my Microsoft laptop using Microsoft Edge.

    Could the browsers or computers be the problem?
