Secondary Default Sort Order (for Featured Listings) — REQUEST

Hi GD Team,

I understand that you can currently only default your listing sort order using one sort (i.e. featured, alphabetical OR price, etc.).

The A-Z, price and other sort options work great.

However, when you use the sort by Featured option, the featured and new listings show up on the top of the page. The other listings show up below that in the order they were published.

That’s great except…

when you have several clients who have advertised with you for years, and they show up on the very bottom of the page because of their published date.

The only work-around I can think of is to change the published dates as clients renew, however, that would cause those listing to have the “New” banner on them… and that’s not correct, as they are NOT new.

I would like to request that GD creates a secondary sort option when using the Featured sort.

Is this possible?
