    Hi all,
    I have been using WordFence but it appears to have been causing me issues with users trying to register. I have disabled it and am awaiting results from further testing. My question is this…what security plugin is recommended to use with GeoDirectory and is one really needed??

    Thanks for your reply. Normally our users would install “captcha” addons for spam prevention. What kind of security are you looking for?

    I have been advised to have security to prevent hacking, viruses etc as well as spam prevention.

    Perfect and thank you! I have UsersWP (for the post-registration redirect functionality) and have found in a previous response of yours that

    “Or if you are using UsersWP, you can use the ReCaptcha addon for that plugin: https://userswp.io/downloads/recaptcha/”

    I take it I only need this second one then…

    The UsersWP reCaptcha will work for registrations and logins, and you can use the GD Recaptcha for things like contacting the listing owners etc. Both plugins have some similarities and some differences.
