I added a select field and set up with data

Changed my mind on the default value and removed it

Went back to listing page and reloaded and default value still visible

Opened a new fresh browser with cleaned cache and still visible

Thanks for pointing this out!

I was able to recreate this issue; I had to make another user to avoid getting shown the saved draft.

The only way to get the default option to change was to actually remove the option from the field so it switched.

This is actually a feature, it sets the default value in the DB for all listings, it is a bit confusing, its on my list of things to change.
