SEO friendly Location search pages

    trying to create location based search pages that can have added descriptions etc and custom urls

    currently i can only seem to do
    http://domain.com/place/category/ or otherwise its a search url
    /?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=

    http://www.domain.com/category-keyword/texas/houston

    or something at least like yelp does
    which is
    https://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=Keyword&find_loc=Houston,+TX
