SEO title on Google not same as page title on site

Hi there

This could be a Google issue but we have had the following problem for a few months now and have looked at every avenue.

The page title of our home page is reading on Google as ‘Discover the next PopUp… Up!: PopUpUp’ instead of what appears on our source code ‘PopUpUp | Discover the next PopUp… Up!’. We have Yoast working alongside GeoDirectory and it’s what we would expect to see within the site, however we have submitted the site / Fetch as Google over the last 3 months and no changes which of course affects our SEO.

Any known cases like this and if so, any workaround?

hi,

this is definitely a Google issue. Everything on your page source code is correct, Google is ignoring it and I honestly don’t know why.

I would try to ask to Yoast support and see if they ever came across anything similar.
