    Hi,

I have just found out that my username in the Geo Directory – Auto updates was wrong.

So I change clicked saved then got this error

You don’t have permission to access /testing/mot/wp-admin/admin.php on this server.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Could you point me in the right direction for a solution?

    Hi,

Normally that happen when you are not logged in as admin.

Please provide a URL and admin credentials in a private reply and we will have a look.

    Thanks

    Hi Rob,

I see the username got change because it is correct. I tried to save and I saw that error too.

I never saw it before on any of our customer’s and test websites, so I searched on Google : https://www.google.com/search?q=ou+don%E2%80%99t+have+permission+to+access&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=you+don%27t+have+permission+to+access

All topics found are related to server configuration, so I don’t think there is anything we can do on our side to solve it.

Please try to report this to your hosting provider.

Let us know how you went.

    Thanks
