set default featured image? (actually unset…)

    Somewhere in the settings, I tried setting the default featured image – but I can’t find where.

    I’ve now removed that image file from my media library, and no longer want to use a default featured image. I want to undo this setting, but I can’t find where to do that.

    Here’s a snapshot of what it looks like with a broken image, just in case you’re having trouble visualizing my issue:

    Ok, I think I found it: Design-Listings-Upload listing no image. But I have no file chosen there.

    So then I looked at the individual listing, and it looks like the “default no upload” file is specifically attached to the post. Once I deleted it, everything looks right now.

    I had been thinking that that image file would simply be called for display when there were no images in the post. Now I understand how it works!

    The setting you are looking for is more likely to be in the categories: Places > Categories > Edit category > Default image.
