When adding a new page in GD I can’t see the templates for Add Listing etc., only default, blog and Full Width. (In GT, on another site, which I have been using for a long time, there were several templates for the various pages such as listings and events.)

Also my navigation links are not showing and I have consulted the GD docs:
    http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-design/
but can’t easily see how to do this. Shouldn’t they be there automatically or do I need to set up a menu? I was using Uber Menu with WP menus in GT.

My WP is up to date and I am using the GD framework child.

    Many thanks,
    Sue

Hello Sue, the add-listing page is created automatically by the system as a virtual page.
To have the GD menu items you should first create a Menu in Appearances/Menu then go to the Geodirectory settings / Design and in the Navigation tab you have to select your previously created menu (Show geodirectory navigation in selected menu locations), and from the same tab you can decide what items to show, add listings, events, etc..

Thanks, Simone – I will have a go now. Just adjusting to the change from using GT to GD 😉 I really like GD – it’s been worth the long dev time but I’m still using both. Stiofan and Paolo have done a great job! It has so many options and will be easier to use once I find my way around everything. Interesting comparing them too.
    Definitely a +1 😉

Wow! That sounds exciting – it has been a long road over the last 3 years but I have learnt so much along the way as GT progressed. Interesting there is more in the pipeling… 🙂
