    So i’m trying to build pages in wordpress and just use shortcodes so i can have the pages look like i want with the urls i want and use the breadcrumbs etc i want.

    how do i add location to shortcodes

    testing on this one. How to I add listings just from like Houston ?

    [gd_bestof_widget title=”Top 10 xxx in City” post_type=gd_place post_limit=5 categ_limit=6 character_count=50 use_viewing_post_type=true add_location_filter=true tab_layout=bestof-tabs-as-dropdown]

    Is there a sort code to display search results xx in xx. I can’t seem to do that either.

    and how was this demo built?

    shortcodes Or is that all custom?

    Hi,

    shortcodes will adapt to the location selected and show only related listings. There is no parameter for locations in shortcodes.

    so no way to display results based on pre set location?

    trying to make category pages for search engines

    i can get the category pages like in the listed to ok
    ie https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/

    but trying to do some top 10 xx in xx like yelp does, or best xx in xx etc
    basically doorway pages 🙂

    As I said already, there is no way to do that in custom pages.
