    Hey,

How do I make the package one of the parameters in which I can filter in the [gd_listings] shortcode?

    Ex: [gd_listings post_type=”gd_place” layout=5 category=”3772″ tags=”hdscba” post_number=”25″ list_sort=”featured” gd_package_id=”4″]

I have added the code for “Add the package ID to the body attribute” found in docs so I could do some targeted styling.

What would I need to do to accomplish this in that shortcode?

    Thanks.

The query of that shortcode would have to be modified to accommodate that.

We consider this a customization and not an easy one that we can guide you here on the forum how to do it.

It’d probably take an hour of work or more to do something like that.

    Thanks

The best way to do this would be to create a custom shortcode via a plugin. That way it’d be safe from updates.

It shouldn’t take more than 2 or 3 hours for a good developer, especially because most of the code would be taken from the original shortcode, but I can’t be 100% sure of this.

If my estimate is correct, 2 or 3 hours could cost between $250 and $45 depending on the expertise and especially nationality of the developer.

    Thanks
