shortcode for map and events

    Hello,

    Is there a way to add the homepage map shortcode and have it default to Events? I have checked the map settings and i see the default post type is locations. Can that be overridden in the shortcode?

    I tried listing map shortcode but it says there are no records found. I would like it to show the records in the following shortcode that is also on the page.

    [gd_event_listing post_number=6 layout=3 list_sort=upcoming list_filter=upcoming]
