Shortcode listing filter by tag

    Theme: Geo 1280 Theme

    I am using shortcode for listings as i want to show filtered lsitings on a page (e.g. only places where tag=abc) is that possible or do i need to use the category`s ?!

    e.g. [gd_listings post_type=”gd_place” category=”24″ post_number=”10″ list_sort=”high_review”]

    You cannot filter by tags, sorry.

    Thanky ou for your reply. So if i want to show listings via Shortcodes there is only the way to use then categories to make that happen or is there another way to achieve that ?

    The owner of the lisitign has the possibility to add through a custom field value 1-10 and none.
    I want to show listings on a page which only shows entries where the custom field is > than 1.

    The only way I see that possible is by linking to a search result page using the parameters you are after.
    For example this search is filtered using a custom field: http://wpgeo.directory/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_hotel&s=+&snear=&sgeodir_petfriendly=1&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=
    So you can link direct to that URL and that page will always display all the required results.
