Show featured events first

    Good morning, I’ve been searching for a way to make featured events appear first on listing pages. I’ve set the featured sorting option and set an event to featured but it’s still appearing in date order filtered by upcoming. I understand that featured events won’t appear first on search results, that’s fine. However, with places, setting a place as featured makes it appear at the top of the /places/location listing pages whereas events don’t.
