Show Full Description On Search Results Page

    Hi,

    I want to make a few changes to my search results page, it shows places in list view:

    – Can I make each listing display the full description.

    – Can I remove the “Comments” part on each listing.

    I’ve attached a picture with the comments area circled.

    You will want to make your changes to the GD Archive Item template. This is a WP Page that you arrange shortcodes or HTML that is used to display those ‘mini listings’.

    Find your GD Archive item page and

    1. Add GD Post Content and choose how many words should be displayed
    2. Remove GD Post Rating

    Hi Alex,

    I have removed GD Post Rating and added GD Post Content, but I cannot workout how to get rid of the “read more” instead of showing the full description.

    If you really just want to use the full description you can use GD Post Meta instead, with the key post_content

    Add something like this to the template:

    Hi Alex,
    

    I have tried this but it doesn’t seem to be removing the “Read more” as I wanted. It just seems to have added “key is missing” above that section?
    

    I have attached a screenshot.
