    recently upgraded to v2

Is there a setting to control the number of columns in the footer?

Can I change the content in the copyright footer?

How can I have the location default to near-by when the site is initially accessed?

Wouldn’t it be good idea to store a default location when someone subscribes?

    Thanx

The number of footer columns depends on your theme settings. If you are using a GD theme, let us know and then we can tell you more.

Yes,you can change the footer, but again that depends on your theme.

    There’s no automatic geo-location.

Your users are not necessarily in the same location every time they access your site.

    Thanks

Footers – I’m using your geo directory theme

Nearby Location – that was my point in suggesting to default setting the location to nearby, most if not all will be using a directory to search the area their currently in or an area they plan to visit

If you mean the GD framework theme, that theme has a setting to choose the number of footer columns: GDF Options > Footer options.
That’s also where you can change the footer text.
If you mean the Directory Starter or Supreme theme, please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/directory-starter/#footer
In Supreme and Directory Starter you will need custom CSS to change the footer columns number and width.

    Thanks
