Simplifying GD

    Hi,

    After much searching through various plug-ins, I believe GeoDirectory to be closest to my needs. The plug-in however, though great and robust, has more features than I need.

    I need only to have a map displaying all of my imported markers (with the search function), and the detail page for the marker.

    The only other feature that I hope to have is a day-of-the-week tab on the detail page to display day-specific information depending on the day selected.

    That being said, I hope to eliminate the Add Listing feature, user login, ratings, photos (probably),

    You can turn off most fields for listings and only retain the ones you need.
    Do not link to any other pages than the detail pages.
    Depending on what you mean with a day of the week tab, something like that can be done with the Events addon, and then create events for the listing, they will then be added to a tab.

    Am I also able to eliminate the profile, photos, ratings, and comment tabs on the details page and instead have a single block? I’d like to stay away from tabs and dropdowns.

    Hi Jim, have a look at GD > design > detail tab > Show as list
