Perfect, Thanks.
Can you tell me what’s up with my location selector and my permalinks?
https://wyoconnect.com/I doesn’t look right nor is it linking properly to the locations.
I’ve attached a screenshot of my permalinks as wellMarch 22, 2020 at 6:35 am #536032Normal permalinks should be set to post name.
Resaving permalinks should help.
March 22, 2020 at 6:42 am #536035Thank you. Got it.
Can you tell me what’s up with me locations link?
It looks not quite right and the permalinks aren’t working properly.
https://wyoconnect.com/Also trying to figure out how to add more category links under the search in the hero section on the home page.
Thanks for your help
March 22, 2020 at 6:50 am #536036When categories have listings, then the categories show up on the automatic displays like the featured area.
I fixed the location page, it was set as the home page, and added a front page.
March 22, 2020 at 7:15 am #536038Thank you…I thought the location page was supposed to be the home page.
Can you tell me why I’m getting duplicates on the change locations popup and shouldn’t it be styled a little better to fit with the theme? I know css but I’m thinking it shouldn’t be necessary.
And 1 more…on the home page…I looked at the shortcode and I can’t figure it out.
Why aren’t the titles to the cpt’s showing on the home page above each set of categories within the cpt?
March 22, 2020 at 7:22 am #536041For the Change Location switcher, the one with the clock is ‘recent’.
GD is a plugin, and can be used with any theme. Some elements inherit styles like link colors.
For GD Categories and the entire page you can add more as you like, that is the sample content you can find here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/front/Some folks add more than one GD Categories, one for each CPT, then add a title to the shortcode.
Use the shortcode builder to use all the options available:

Can you tell me what is happening with my account pages?
I’ve installed Buddypress and when I click to edit an account I get a different account page.
You can see here in this 1 minute screencast
http://somup.com/cYe3j0hS6jMarch 22, 2020 at 8:41 am #536055I just noticed that the Red Essential Needs category isn’t dynamically showing up under the search on the home page like the green ones. Not sure what I missed.
March 22, 2020 at 8:46 am #536057Last one…I’m off to bed…I’m still trying to figure out how to connect the buddypress users to a cpt. I’d like to be able to have the user own their listings.
People will connect with Facebook and some of the listings will be auto populated via their Facebook or Yelp link. When they come claim it, they will probably login with their Facebook account. That is working.
How do I link it all together?
Thanks again for the help.
One last thing, can you tell me your working hours and what time zone you’re in?Good night.
March 22, 2020 at 8:56 am #536059We recommend you only use one off UsersWP and Buddypress, not both.
Only logged in users can claim listings.
Our working hours are 24/7, and we have support staff in 5 continents so there usually is always somebody providing support.
Thanks
March 22, 2020 at 4:20 pm #536103Thank you for all the help yesterday.
Today I’m back at it and I’ve removed the UserWP plugin so I can use BuddyPress and cleared out the UWP shortcode but now the Profile page is blank. I can’t find ANYWHERE a shortcode so that the user profile page will appear.
March 22, 2020 at 7:44 pm #536119I’ve figured out the profile situation I believe. I was linking to the wrong page.
How would I incorporate the Social Login with BuddyPress?
I figured out how to do it with the UserWP plugin and had it set up but the UserWP Social login crashes the site when installed on it’s own.March 22, 2020 at 11:16 pm #536127Social login for UsersWP can only be used with UsersWP.
ThanksMarch 23, 2020 at 7:19 am #536178This I’ve figured out.
