Hi,
Is there an option of a complete directory search rather than just one CPT at a time? If I have someone looking for wedding related items for example have some entries as a business and some as entertainment provider and some under hotels (wedding venue) and would be useful to search for all.

Hi,

CPT can only be browsed and search individually. Joining all tables in the DB would make the system very slow.
In addition if you have different custom fields for each CPT the advance search would be super confusing.

Don’t forget you can just add the normal WP Search widget to search the whole site, but the results will not be returned in the GD search page, and of course, there are no search options then.

Thanks – Have that on one page but doesn’t include tags/categories in the search so works but not completely successful results
