I’m still setting up my site and I already know that I have far too many plugins (the vast majority are GeoDirectory plugins though), so I know that probably has a lot to do with it…

Today, out of curiosity, I did a speed test to see how the site loads and it got an F. It’s SOOOOOOOO SLOW. Like WAY slower than the old site. I’m working on a revamp of an existing site, so I can compare the 2. This is a GIGANTIC difference in speeds!

    The original site: https://fresnofamily.com
The revamped site, under construction still: https://homeschoolrealm.com/wordpress

I have used a couple of speed test sites and they show a ginormous speed difference.

So my question is this…should I be concerning myself with this yet? Or should I finish the revamp and get things all set up the way I want first?

I’m still learning how to use all the plugins and getting things set up the way I like them…I still have a fair bit of work to do, I think. But will it be easier for me to start investigating the speed issues now before I’m done with all the setup stuff…or will it not matter if I wait until I’m done with that? Just wondering if there are things that I’m not thinking of that could best be done now, before I finish all the work I’m doing…
