The site became slow, did not make no changes, except more listings got listed. Google pingdom at only 66%, showing these issues.
1. There are 65 JavaScript files served from website. They should be combined into as few files as possible.https://mysite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?actio … 1&gd_map_h=340&gd_map_w=978&gd_posttype=gd_place
https://mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/templates/default/js/editor.js?ver=2.5.14-6684
https://mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-compliments/js/bp-compliments.js?ver=4.9.42. This page makes 99 parallelizable requests to mysite.com. Increase download parallelization by distributing these requests across multiple hostnames:

https://mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-assets/images/downarrow-img.pngAlso, Leverage browser caching, Combine external CSS.
Any of them could be solved? Am i missing something to improve the speed?
ThanksMarch 29, 2018 at 10:41 pm #424092We offer GD Booster to improve load times.
March 30, 2018 at 4:29 am #424129I’m using a home page map on the top section and it’s slowing down my site also.
Is it possible to use Supreme’s theme home top section “Find Local Treasures! Discover the best places to stay, eat, shop and events near you.” with Whoop? If yes, what is the widget or html code for this top section? Thank youMarch 30, 2018 at 5:47 am #424133Hi zyze,
Thanks for your reply. Could you please share your Website URL so that we could check on it and see why is it loading slowly for you? Also, please try reducing the image file sizes you use as background feature image.
Furthermore, if you wish to display the “best places to stay, eat, shop and events near you”, you can use this widget https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#bestofwidget
March 30, 2018 at 4:47 pm #424201Sorry, i was talking about this front page top layout to incorporate with whoop (see attached)
March 31, 2018 at 11:53 am #424305Hello,
The Supreme Home page features several widgets/shortcodes that have had some special styles applied to them.
It can’t be ‘transplanted’ into another theme without some customization, but you can add the widgets yourself to your home page and style theme

Google Page speed results apply to WordPress as a whole, and we have done our best to optimize GeoDirectory, but some of the recommendations from page speed are not possible. YOu can see that by running the same test on WordPress.org and comparing the results.
Some optimization is possible with a cache plugin. Check out the recommended cache solutions here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#cacheplugins
April 2, 2018 at 4:53 pm #424609We use GD Booster and Yoast SEO plugins only. We do Not use WP Super Cache or any Cache. Furthermore, we use only those plugins, that are included or suggested by GD. In your documentation info, the WP Super Cache is not recommended with GD Booster.
GD Booster is enabled. All the settings as advised.
All results below is showing in red “F” on Google speed test
Combine external JavaScript
Parallelize downloads across hostnames
Leverage browser caching
Combine external CSS
Sometimes the site is loading so slow, that it takes 5s just to log in to the site. I’m not going to enable/disable anything without your approval first, not to make things worse.
ThanksApril 2, 2018 at 5:47 pm #424618Hello,
glad to hear you have GD Booster running.
Our best advice is to turn off plugins you aren’t using.
April 2, 2018 at 10:23 pm #424652As i said, there is No any other plugins activated or installed, except of those that are required with GD. Period. None. Therefor, nothing to turn off.
ThanksApril 3, 2018 at 11:17 am #424747OK then, that’s as good as it can get with GD settings, then.
I will flag this for the developers in case they have an easy fix for you.
