    So here is how I have my categories set up for Decades:
    Decades (parent)
    -1980’s
    -1990’s
    -2000’s
    -2010’s
    All are subcategories.

    What happens when I delete Decades?
    I only want to delete it because I dont want it on the main page.
    Is there a way to hide it?

    All subcategories would be deleted too.
    Listings that are not in any other category, will need to be assigned at least one other category.

    I cannot think of any way to hide it, but maybe one of the developers does. Let’s ask them.

    I am not sure exactly where you want to hide it? Can it be done with CSS?

    I just dont want it on the page. If i didnt have over 200 listings, I would just delete them all and then recategorize them.

    I am really not sure what you want, if i understood i could advise better.

    Why don’t you make all sub cats main cats then delete the decades cat?
