Social Importer Error Upon Connection Attempt

    Hello.

    I have watched the Social Importer video and followed the steps three times to create an app and then try to connect to GD.

    I’m getting the error described at the end of this support thread:

    Screenshot also attached.

    If I click okay, the Social Import configuration page opens inside the dialog box, although nothing has changed. If I try again, I go through a loop.

    I also tried logging out, clearing cache, and logging back in. Still no change.

    Need admin credentials? Let me know.

    Hi,

    Stiofan is looking into it. We will probably need to release an update. It appears that Facebook changed something in their API.

    Paolo is correct, facebook made some api changes, i have released a new version which fixes the problem.

    Hello again.

    I just did the following:
    1. Updated the plugin
    2. Cleared cache for good measure
    3. Delete previously created app
    4. Create new app following instructions
    (steps 3 and 4 repeated twice)

    RESULT = Error loop, same as before.

    Not yet resolved.
