    Facebook is a lot more strict now in approving their API to import details into any application such as GD. I think the video and the documentation are obsolete now.

    I presume one would use “read_insights” type of communication in FB to import contact details from Facebook to GD? This then leads to completing a form where I am lost as to how to address them. I would like to be pretty sure how to address these questions so that the Facebook approval goes through, as correcting later is near impossibility. The same goes for “posting” into Facebook from GD.

    Further, is there a Privacy Policy template that can be adopted as Facebook is asking for this link before approving the API.

    Hi Jay,

    The app never has to be made LIVE to work, you never need to submit it for review, it should just work if you follow the instructions.

    Hi, Stiofan,

    Ok, completed setting up the API as per the documentation.
    Now when I try to import (GD frontend) a “place” from FB, then I get the following error:

    Something went wrong[104], the admin must authorize this app in the backend.

    Now I get this error:

    Something went wrong[100], this page/event may not be public.

    I have checked to ensure that the App is public.
    Also, the Privacy Policy and the Logo at 1024×1024 has been uploaded
