    There seems to be a significant lag between posts being published on my GD site, and being posted to Facebook through the Social Importer plugin. Then, I get a whole bunch posted all at once. Is this a limitation on FB’s end, or is there a specific trigger?

    That is probably due to a cue in the facebook API.

    The info is sent to your FB app immediately.
