Sharing to social media works just fine. BUT. When clicking on the post link that was shared on facebook, twitter etc. the image pinwheels and locks up the site. This basically negates the share feature because when they click on the post that leads to the listing on the site it locks up and pinwheels.

Is that listing live? I cannot find it anywhere on your site.

Yes. It’s live. But all the listings do the same thing. They share correctly. OG Tag is working. BUT, when clicking on the link that was shared and going to that listing on the site. The link leads to the right listing page and info. It’s just that it pinwheels as in the screenshot.

Maybe share any listing to your FB and then click on the share link and you will see.

    Thanks

    Hi,

could you please send a link to a tweet, sharing the link to that listing?

That looks like a javascript error, however if there is an error, it should be always the case. Not only when accesing the page from a shared link.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

The listings all work fine on the site. It is only when clicking on a shared link that it does this

For some reason GD Booster is not liking that referral and it’s causing the error.

I’ll ask to Stiofan to verify, would you please provide admin credentials just in case he needs to modify something on your website?

    Thanks

Thanks for the info, this was a weird bug caused by jQuery history script changing the window.location.hash on the fly with info from the referrer.

I have fixed this on your site and the fix will be in the next release of core.

    Thanks for finding this 🙂

    Thanks.

Can you maybe help with this?

I was wondering how I can force registration and or login before gaining access to site content?

I know many member had success with that using s2members plugin. I personally never tested it, but I know Guust uses it.

I’ll ask him to join the conversation and see if he can assist in case you have problems with it.

    Just let us know,

    Thanks

S2member works by restricting content to a particular level of membership, and it works with GD, BuddyPress and BBpress without any problems.
