    Hello dear support team,

I’m sorry I have to post here again to ths topic. Is again the 404 problem and exactly described here. But I also like to do a new topic Alex, if that’s better for you to handle the subjects. 😉

    @kiran
I’m sorry to bother you again. But you had already helped me a lot in this matter.

Today I tested the frontend and clicked on another city in the Location Widget in the sidebar. That worked already. Today I got 404 Errors again.

I didn’t change any permalinks, no new plugin installed, all gd plugins are current versions The only thing I do is import addresses.

So I’m slightly desperate, because I’ve almost finished the site and only need to fill it with content. And I can’t see what is causing the error. Or how I can avoid that. Google search console shows me the found 404 errors and will not crawl em again.

    Location Widgets produces strange results:
https://altea.me/gesundheit-medizin/kategorie/apotheken-adressen-spanien-provinz-alicante/ shows all locations of Pharmacies in the province alicante.

    1. the location widget shows about 170 villages.
Click on most villages give again a 404 Error

    2. Click on 2 cities link to strange sites. example schreenshot 1
Click on location Alicante links to a gallery entry alicante instead of location categories for ALicante.

    https://altea.me/alicante/alicante-fotos-fotogalerie/1715/

A Click on Adsubia village linkst to https://altea.me/marina-alta/adsubia-atzubia/1166/ .

If you get to watch this, it’ll be great. With a solution please also what you have done, maybe I can repair it myself and don’t have to bother you anymore when it happens again.

Have a nice start into the day – Mark

    Thanks for writing in,

Try resaving permalinks as described here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/permalinks/#404

If that doesn’t fix it, please share WP Admin and FTP credentials so we can check on the issue.

    Hi Kiran,

    tx for yor quick response.

You are right, now it works. I really dont understand why. Believe me, i don’t want to waste your time. Before asking anything i try to get every information in docs and forum. And I try many things. Not only using differen browsers, deleting browser cache and switching Permalinks. I am sorry.

The only thing i did use that time was activating and deactivating the different export snippets for different categories.

I apologize – but believe me i had 404s. As well the google search results had 404s. Please don’t be angry with me.
gd will be the main thing at my lil site. Its the best plug in i ve seen.

Have a nice weekend anyway – Mark
