In setting up the Place Settings / Sorting Options, I’m trying to figure out the way to make it where when a user selects a Sort Option (say A-Z) on the Listings page, that the results show the “Featured” listings A-Z, then show regular listings, A-Z.

I have it where the default display shows ‘Featured’ first, but I’m looking to make it where Featured listings also show first when the user selects A-Z.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

that is not possible, it would require 2 separate queries.

    Thanks

Ok, I understand. Two follow-up questions.

    1) How is the secondary sort structure right now? By post ID number? By that I mean, if I choose Featured as the sort, it lists the Featured listings first, then lists all of the others… they seem to be in a reverse post id sort? Correct?

    2) Then if I wanted to place the ‘Featured’ group of listings query on the top part of the page, then have a regular alpha sort of the listings in a second query below it, how would I do that?

    Thanks.

    1) they are sorted by “latest”, which would be date or can also be done by reverse post ID sort.

    2) that would require few hours of custom coding, it’s an extensive customization and we don’t provide support for them.

    Thanks
