Sorting by distance from my NEAR entry

If I do a search and input an address in the Near field, I get search results but it does not seem that I can configure a sort option by nearest location.

How can I do this in the admin ? Is it posible ?

Yes it is possible.
You need to install advance search options adon.

It is already installed, but I don’t see where I can configure the addon to display the results in order of nearest result.

OK then please go to
Geodirectory > post type (Place) settings > Advance Search > Add search by distance field in advance search form and do the appropriate setting for it.
U will find ‘Show distance sorting’ there too.

ok, thanks – it is configured, but I also notice that it is only available in the advance search. And it is not provided in the sort-option pull-down.

That would a great enhancement, that you add this to the sorting options.

Thoughts ?
