    Just disable claim listings for that CPT. That’s it.

    Hi Joy, Could you explain what you are trying to achieve?

    You wanna hide that “Business Owner” option only to certain categories?

    If yes It doesn’t make any sense. Why not go with separate post types?

    I have separate post types. I am trying to remove the business owner/associate option from those specific post types. I have not been successful in doing this, yet the original post seems to state that it is possible.

    Thank you. This has not been resolved.

    To remove it I have created my own plugin with these instructions:

    then I have entered the code that supported me:

    remove_action(‘geodir_before_main_form_fields’ , ‘geodir_add_claim_fields_before_main_form’, 1);

    and I got deleted from the place form.

    HI,

    that’s definitely a bug, if claim listing is not activate for that CPT the question shouldn’t be there at all.

    I asked to the developers to fix this.

    Hi Joy,

    You have installed too old version of Claim Listing addon. Please follow this to update out dated plugin https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/footer-missing/#post-387740

    In recent version the setting works fine to disable claim listing for particular CPT.
