Hi,
that would require a customization and such things are beyond support.
Thanks
February 4, 2017 at 3:43 pm #354820I understand about customization but someone else had posted the same question and you were nice enough to provide the code, which I added to my site. I just wasn’t sure why it wasn’t working.
February 4, 2017 at 4:25 pm #354895Please provide a link of the topic where you found the code and we’ll let you know more…
February 4, 2017 at 5:11 pm #354906February 4, 2017 at 5:39 pm #354915Hi Gary,
that code adds an image background behind the search widget, not what you are looking for at all.
In fact, you don’t have the search widget anywhere.
Being this a customization, you must hire someone to help you out.
Thanks
February 4, 2017 at 5:43 pm #354921Okay, I assumed it was what I wanted because the subject was “header image”.
Can I ask if there is documentation on creating a menu for the directory. I know I did this for the previous sites in Ecuador but the sites are all gone now. I created a menu called Business Directory with the GeoDirectory items like “Add Listing” but when I went to the navigation tab in GeoDirectory that menu does not show.
Appreciate your help.
February 4, 2017 at 5:45 pm #354923February 4, 2017 at 5:47 pm #354926Yes, I read that but I am not following this –
Show geodirectory navigation in selected menu locations: Here you can select menu locations from your theme to show GeoDirectory menu settings as set from the below settings.
The Business Directory menu that I created does not show up to be selected.
February 4, 2017 at 5:53 pm #354929Hi,
that menu is not assigned to any theme location, if you pay attention, none of the option you can select has the name of the menu you assigned, but the menu theme location name.
Thanks
February 4, 2017 at 5:56 pm #354932Sorry, I jumped the gun. I assigned that menu to the vp guest menu and then specified that in GeoDirectory including the checks on the listing detail, but nothing is showing up. What am I missing?
February 4, 2017 at 5:59 pm #354935Hi,
if you assign it to the primary menu does it work?
Which one is the VP guest menu?
Thanks
February 4, 2017 at 6:03 pm #354936I did that first, assuming it might be the primary menu for the directory, but it changed my total main menu to only show the Business Directory setup on the homepage for the site. I’ve created the unique menu, assigned it as the vp guest menu and added it to the navigation tab in GeoDirectory, so I don’t know why it isn’t working.

February 4, 2017 at 6:14 pm #354949Hi,
that’s not the correct answer.
I’m asking you where the vp guest menu should normally appear on your website.
vp guest menu = menu location on your theme.
If you don’t know, please ask to the author of you theme.
Thanks
