Hi, I have this weird sporadic behavior,

if you go to this URL
    http://suivrelamusique.com/laval/

This should list 4 locations. If you keep refreshing this page, you will eventually get no-listing with the header saying:

    Laval in ‘Mirabel’

    and nothing on the map

Do you have any ideas why this is happening ?

We actually have many regions, this bug only occurs in the LAVAL and LAURENTIDES regions

    Thanks

I guess that is because on the second load, you are geolocated and there are no listings in the location where you are.
I am not sure what that page is supposed to be. Do you have a custom post “laval”?
This is your laval location page: http://suivrelamusique.com/location/canada/quebec/laval
Maybe there is some confusion going on between laval and laval in your system.

Please provide admin details and we will have a look.

It looks like I guessed right.
I have turned off automatic geolocation, so now it does not seem to happen anymore.
What was happening is that your visitors’ location is detected on second load, and listings/category pages will always adjust to the location set by the visitor or the browser. Therefore on the second load, there are no relevant listings.
You will have to delete your geo cookies to see the change: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-can-i-clear-geo-location-settings/

Thanks Guust, however i am not sure what this implies for all visitors that are used to go on the site. Do they have to clear their cookies. This can be difficult to achieve.

    Any advise ?

The will no longer be redirected. GeoLocation is now turned off, it doesn’t matter what they have in the ir browser settings.
    Thanks

I must add that this behavior has never occured before the last week. And the only modification that my client did is to change the name of a listing.

She says that even now, she can still reproduce the problem (sporatically).

Do you think something got corrupted, due to the listing name change ?

    Please advise

Updating the listing name should have no effect on this and I don’t see any problem on your website
The probably has script from the website cached in her browser. Please ask her to clear her browser cache and geolocation settings as Guust said.

    Let us know,

    Thanks
