It’s my understanding that the star icons are basically masks – the white outer edge is designed to blend into the background and the transparent center allows you to reveal a background fill color. I have a subtle gradient background / image behind my website content. The outer area of the mask doesn’t blend with my background. I see two possible solutions. 1) use a clip-path around the stars. 2) use multiple star icons within geodirectory itself – full, half, and empty.

If you recommend the first option, please post vectors so that I may construct a clip-path from them.

    Thanks.

Your understanding is correct. I don’t think this can be done with clip-path and I’m sure it can’t be done with the second option.

Personally I would suggest a 3rd option: to use the font-awesome icon:

GeoDirectory >> Design >> Detail >> Default Rating Settings >> Enable Font Awesome

Let me know if that works for you.

    Thanks
