static homepage changes when GDC is activated

    I have a static homepage and use the extra theme. I installed GDC and set it up. It works fine but now my actual homepage shows the archivepage with blogposts. When I deactivate GDC it is back to the normal static page. What can I do?
    I set the static page in the settings to my homepage, but as long as GDC is active it will just show the archive. Once it is deactivated the regular homepage will appear again. Thank you.

    Sorry, I’m not sure if I’m getting this. Did you follow the GD setup instructions? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/ .
