    Hi team,
I’m trying to translate my local single web to one language.
I want to translate the forms (add a place for exemple)
The menu : done with a switcher.
But I’m not able to do correctly with the forms and the categories.
It very important to link the english category to the translated category.
I already read the documentation: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/multilingual/#settings

But I need more detail: Exampl when I follow this step:
To load GeoDirectory Title and Metas in a single language, translate the strings directly using the GeoDirectory settings at:

GeoDirectory – Settings – General – Title and Meta:
    I’m not able to translate….

    Thanks

About the Titles and Metas, you just type in the text you want there at:
GeoDirectory – Settings – General – Title and Meta:

If you are trying to run a site in two languages, english and something else, though, then you need to translate the pO files

    Hi Alex,
I folow step by step this method:https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/translation/overview/

And I tried also to do whith this one:https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/multilingual/

I translate pages, menus and add switcher to allow visitors to change language.
But, the place category does not appear on the seconde language (french) and if I creat in the backend the category translations: that will not give the expected result:
The category appear, but with no matching with the english one! even if I created a groupe of places in the english version: on the french one: it’s empty!

I also follow this tuto: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mocylaXgWvU
And think that, it’s not what I want.
I want to have a sweatcher on the top, and if the user change the language he will find the same Listing but translated.
    Exemple:
If under the english version, the directory recorded 5 lands, if the user go to the french version for exemples he will find: 5 Terrains.

    Did you translate the listings?
    Did you translate the categories?
Did you translate the custom post types?

Post your URL, WP admin and FTP details if we need to review your settings.

    Thanks

If you do not translate your listings, categories or CPT then listings will only be available in one language.
Please let us know when your site is on a server, then we can help you better.
    Thanks
