    Hello

(My site is on a local server, if you need to see it, I can upload and host somewhere, let me know).

When using the GD search, all of the pages and posts are coming up in the results.

E.g. a search for Qibao (place name), brings up places, like it should, but also displays “Hello World!”, “Sample Page”, “Add Listing” etc. Obviously I don’t want that, how can I stop it?

That sounds like a conflict with some other plugin, have a look here for some known conflicts:

    Thanks

    Hi Guust

I don’t have any of the plugins installed on the list, the only plugins I have (apart from GD) are Code Snippets (which I installed after reading a suggestion on here) and Duplicator. I’ve tried de-activating both but still no luck.

    — Just tried changing the permalink structure (I have to set it to ‘plain’ because it won’t work with ‘post name’ on local server) and it works okay although the display is much bigger.

    Hello!

as long as the permalink structure has /%postname%/ as the last item it should work.

This is described clearly in our getting started docs https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/getting-started/

Please check through the setup guide and let us know
