I am using the TagDiv Newspaper theme with GDv2.

I want to be able to use post layouts like the link below, in which the listing title is displayed over the featured image as a header.

One problem is that no matter which Template I select from: GD > Settings > Design tab, I get the default post layout in which the Post (CPT) title is displayed right and the top and cannot be styled.

Another problem is that the WpBakery Page Builder is not overriding the content area, so I am stuck with the normal boxed layout, which makes it impossible for me to use the page builder to make the headers that I want.

    Try the setting at

GD – Settings – General – Design – Detail – Page template file override

Select the page template you want in that setting and let us know how it goes. If there is still an issue please share WP Admin and FTP so we can dig deeper.

I’ve used every Page Template available, and they all produce the same result.

    *snip*
