Styling and css seem to break only on the Geodirectory pages. It makes the site full width and falling off the edges…

Here is how the rest of the site looks:

We are using the “Newspaper” theme from codecanyon.

    Hi,

This is a very quick and simple fix…

Go to GeoDirectory >> Theme Compatibility >> Select Theme Compatibility Pack, select Custom ad save.

    Than add: td-container

to the Class field of the geodir_wrapper_open hook. (see image attached) and save again.

This should be enough to tell GD to use the right CSS from your theme.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

Hi and sorry for the late reply, I’d need a link and admin credentials to be able to fix this…

These are all problems caused by theme css conflicts with the plugin css.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

please do all changes in CSS Admin CUSTOM CSS if needed… as we do not have a child theme working [conflicted with site]

    NEWSPAPER>THEME PANEL>CUSTOM CSS

We already have some code in there…. just please add it below it.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I’ve asked to the developers to check, because it seems like some CSS is being totally ignored.

Not sure were the problem is coming from, but I suspect it could be due to one of the +80 plugins installed, which BTW are making your website close to unusable on same backend pages, specifically the widgets page.

If I can give a quick advise to improve your performaces here, please consider to break down your website in section using multisite. One subsite for each section with only the required plugins for that particular section active in each website. This would defintely make a difference on your website speed and usability.

We’ll keep you posted for the CSS problem.

    Thanks for your patience,

    Hi,

In GeoDirectory >> Design >> Script, you had this option checked: Disable Core SCSS

I uncheked it and now the css look correct.

Let us know if you have any other problem.

    Thanks
