Hello!

Myself and Kiran logged in to the site today and ran another test and verified the issue.

We want to look into it further, however, the FTP credentials are not showing any files.

Can you please check the FTP details? We need access to the site directory on the server.

Hi Scott,

I think there is a misunderstanding here.

I have done one test:
– Created listing with Basic package for 30 days
– Set manually expire date to 2017-11-10
– Run GD Tools > Expire check
– My listing is published and it has still same package and 3 days overdue

Recurring package does not expires/downgrades until it gets the subscription cancel or subscription delete IPN request from gateway (PayPal or Stripe etc). This is applied to recurring packages only to fix delays in IPN request from gateway on the subscription payment received.

If i do same above steps for assuming Basic package is non-recurring then in last step the listing expired and downgraded to Free package.

Hello,

it should work if you don’t assign the listings a recurring package. Instead just upgrade the new listing to a 30 day onetime package.

Well it’s interesting for sure. The GD test place and Awesome Test Place downgraded but is still showing the contact and social media information :\

Having to wait a day to downgrade is super annoying I must say. This has gone on for weeks now. Perhaps that part could be resolved by changing that “rule”? If I downgrade to “add listing” and save, all that info is gone. Is there a place to make a suggestion?

Anyways, I don’t know why its doing this.

If this cannot be fixed fairly soon, can I just start over with a new site? Meaning create new site again under a different name with all upgrades then just cancel this one out when I’m done building it?

Just trying to get this functioning correctly asap.

I’m also noticing that some places have the category deleted now for some reason. I set them all up with categories when I added them. “The hidden bush” was one that I noticed. Right now its on “Add Listing” or the free listing. If I add the category now then update it will delete all the extra contact information.

So I choose “Unlimited” then add category ( and fix some spelling errors) then update. Now The Hidden Bush is in “Ultimate” having to wait to downgrade. Does The Hidden Bush now get emails notifying the changes that they should have never seen to begin with?

I’m now noticing places have categories that do not match what they are. Please look at “Sweet Grass Kitchen” On the front end it shows the category “Apparel” which is incorrect, I did not choose this category for this place. When I go into the edit place, there’s no category chosen.

p.s. I do think GD is one of the most awesome themes ever and I do love it! I just want mine to work right 🙂

Hello!

Where should we start. What is the problem you are seeing with the package downgrade? It sounds like you are waiting to see what happens when it does the downgrade automatically.

Submit feature requests here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/

Category issue? Check your packages for excluded categories. If there is another issue, send the URL and Admin access and we can check it out. If this is unrelated to the package issue, please make a new support request topic.
