    Hi there,

I am using latest version of Supreme but have noticed a couple of issues:

    1) When i navigate to a listing the navigation no longer displays http://screencast.com/t/H5pvGbubg

    2) I have “claim listings” turned off, but the Claim Me button still diaplays. How can I get rid of it? http://screencast.com/t/H5pvGbubg

I have solved the second issue by deactivating the plugin BUT

Now it displays the username of the person who created the listing http://screencast.com/t/Dql20yQ1M

    1) That is a security risk as it’s giving away the username of the account holder
    2) Seems pretty stupid. Surely there are reasons why you wouldnt want a user to display next to a listing (i certainly dont want it). I can understand it if the directory is open and available to claim, but if its being fully managed as in this case, it doesnt make sense

    Please advise

    Hi jshawcross,

I’d like you to know that in WordPress, usernames are public. Which means, when you visit an author URL or BBPress members page URL, you can always see the username in URL. Which is why WordPress have the option to set a custom nickname.

Regarding the navigation issue, I’ve changed the “Header Background Color” to the default color and it seems to be displaying properly now. http://prntscr.com/bqbb5z . Could you please check on your end?

I have the same problem with nicknames, even if i change what as default to show, always shows nickname. And nicknames are by default emails and thats not good combination. Is there a way to fix it?

Hiding is simplest but not good option for secure reasons, emails remains in html. Another way?

Yes that was last option, just keep a note of the customization made, so that you can re-apply them before every update. Hopefully they will become rare soon…
