Symbols/Icons for Multiselect Options

    Hi!

    In the multi select form field, it is obviously possible to add multiple option values by defining them with comma separation. Unfortunately no HTML code will be parsed in that field (I display the contents of this multi select field in the search results and listings – no HTML will be parsed there, its just plain text options).
    This is very unfortunate because for user friendliness and clarity, I would like to add a graphic or a font awesome icon for each possible comma separated value…

    It would be a great plus since my directory is heavily based on those values…
    Is there a workaround?

    Sorry but there is not.
    You can do that with creating a separate field for each option, but that will only work if you do not have that many options.

    I’ll alert the developers to your question too.

    There is no way at the moment but i am working on custom fields so this migh be possible in the future via hooks.
