Is there some “easy” way to reorder tabs? to put icons in tabs? to change the names of the default tabs?

What I would like to do is a multilanguage listing without using WPML, that makes GeoDirectory too cumbersome and complicated to use for listing owners.

Then I would like to replace the name of the profile tab by the name of the dafault language, create new tabs for textfields with the profile information in other languages, add language flag icons to the tabs and reorder the tabs so all the language tabs are displayed together.

Custom post addon allows you to name the tabs.
Custom fields allow you to create tabs (using fieldsets) and reorder as you please by dragging up or down to change the order.

    Thanks Guust!

Is it possible to reorder the default Tabs? I would like to move the “Profile” tab next to the tabs of the new fields.

Have a look here (or search for “reorder tab”):

You should be able to add an icon in the tab by using CSS. Easy for some, but not everybody … so, let’s see if anybody else can contribute.

    FYI: https://wpgeodirectory.com/re-order-tabs-in-a-listing-detail-page/

Adding icons to tabs currently would require 1 separate background image for each tab, which would mean 1 extra call to the server for each tab, slowing down the page.

You could use a sprite image but that requires even more css skills. I would quote 1 hour of custom work for it minimum.

Not sure it is a good idea…

    Thx
