text-number fields displayed when empty

    Hi support,
    when I use Text-Number or Text-Decimal custom fields they are displayed also if the fields are empty.
    They are not displayed in preview page but after I click Update Now they appears in the listing page (online) set to zero. After that if I edit the page those fields has been set to zero.
    Instead they work fine if I set them to Text-Character.

    Could you please check it out?
