The absolute ESSENTIAL starter Add-ons?

I have just purchased GeoDirectory along with Listimia. I intend to create a directory website dedicated to meditation and wellness, starting here in the Chicagoland area (that includes many surrounding cities), and hopefully, ultimately beyond. I want to have front-end listing available. And yes, I would like to monetize listings.

Obviously, there are lots of add-ons to make any directory more and more sophisticated. My question is, what are the absolute essential add-ons to start with to accomplish this. I am sure you understand, essentials vs “buzzes and whistles.”
