the icons do not appear on the category map

    What is your setting at GD > Design > Map tab > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP
    Did you hide the maps for the categories?

    If that is not the issue, please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look at your settings.
