We started having an issue yesterday. When we are trying to create new users and new places in the back end of GeoDirectory and we keep getting the following error

“The link you followed has expired.” on a white page

Steps we are taking to make a user
    1. Click on Users
    2. Add new user
    3. Fill in the user settings
    4. click “add new user”

Steps we are using to add new place
    1. Click on places
    2. add new
    3. fill in the form
    4. submit

We are also finding that the wordpress log in now comes up a lot. We have not run any updates on wordpress.

Also when we try to log back in at the wordpress login screen it will often take us to the front end gd-login page

It says ‘your session has expired’ but doesn’t actually require login. I would try deactivating that users switching plugin or other non-GD addons. If it is a GD error it is not one I have seen before. You can try deactivating GD to see if it still happens.

I’m sorry I don’t understand what user switching plugin you are speaking to?

Alex means the User Switching plugin, see image.
What is happening is that if you switch to another user who is not an admin, you loose all privileges and no longer can add users etc.
    Thanks
