I’ve recently installed a new theme and find that GeoDirectory is basically useless when it comes to search functionality.

    Example: http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/corvette-club-directory/united-states-1/missouri-2/joplin-1/4-states-vettes/

On the main GeoDirectory page – the Google Map overlays the site’s navigation system as you scroll up:

    http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/corvette-club-directory/

This is the third theme that I have tried GeoDirectory with for compatibility and I have yet to find one that fits into the rest of my site design and is functional with this plugin.

How can these issues be fixed before I completely delete the GeoDirectory plugin and move to something more compatible?

    Hello,

Some themes can look a mess but take 2minutes to get the right compatibility settings, just decide on the theme you want and then provide me wp-admin details and i will make it compatible for you 🙂

    Thank you!

The only other issue I was having are the widget headers on the right hand side:

    http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/corvette-club-directory/

Example, Primary Sponsors. I can manipulate those headers with custom css, but then the changes I make, affects the other headers such as the one at the top of the page stating:

    Corvette Clubs & Organizations Directory:

To see an example of the correct widget titles, you can see them on the right hand side of the homepage:

    Hi,

    just add:

    .geodir-content-right

in front of any custom css you add for the headings.

This will terget only the html elements of the right sidebar.

Example to change PRIMARIY SPONSOR text color you would use this:

    .geodir-content-right .widget-title {color:black;}

Let us know if thi helps.

    Thanks

    That worked, thanks!

The only issue I’m having is changing the background and font colors of the submit buttons. Example:

    http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/corvette-club-directory/united-states-1/missouri-2/joplin-1/4-states-vettes/

The Search Button and Get Directions Button.

    hi,

it seems like there should be options to change those colors via theme settings.

There is theme css in the header controlling them. Please ask for support to the theme author too in case.

Let us know if this helped.

    Thanks
