Theme Conflict in Admin

    Hello, we just installed GeoDirectory on a new development site running the Publisher Theme from ThemeForest.

    • WordPress 4.7
    • Publisher version 1.6.1
    • GeoDirectory version 1.6.15

    In the admin under GeoDirectory > Design, all of the select fields won’t populate with this theme active. I don’t see any errors or warnings in the Firefox or Chrome JS Consoles.
    Changing to the Twenty Sixteen theme results in the select fields populating.

    Hi Jason,

    that is probably due to a conflict with a copy of the Chosen.js script used by both the theme and our plugin. It is something we see pretty often.

    The developers are looking into it and will apply a fix on your website asap.

    Can you let me know which file(s) were updated so I can copy to the real site?

    Also, when the Plugin is updated, will the same patch be applied there?

    Hi,

    he probably added something to your theme functions.php or via code snippet.

    I’ll ask him to let us know which of the 2, I’m 99.99% sure he didn’t change anything on GeoDirectory.
